Explosive Fitness: Easy Steps to Super-Fitness

Finally step by step ...

From Beginner to
Your Fitness Dream

Your body is amazing. But it's not magical.

Look at your arms. Look at your waist. Look at your legs.

Now say to them,

"Arms, get bigger and stronger!"

"Legs get faster and more energetic!"

"Waist give me 6-pack abs!"

You probably know that won't work. But that's probably what you want, or some variation of that. If that's what you want, then why can't you just tell your body what you want, and have it happen?

You can speak to your body that directly, but not with words.

Rour body has a language. And when you know your body's language, both how to speak to body and just as importantly, how to listen to to your body, then your body does become magical.

So just what language does your body speak? Well, your body doesn't speak English, or Spanish or Chinese Cantonese or Portuguese or Japanese. There hasn't been a word for your body's

language so we call it Bioese.

Bioese: The language of your body.

Bioese Rhymes with Japanese. Whether you like the word, or not, you are going to love the results you get when you start applying the concept to your body.

Bioese: The language of actions, feelings and measurements that let you flawlessly communicate with your body, and your body to flawlessly communicate with you.

The word and concept hasn't been identified before, but it should have. When it comes to fitness and health, that is the core of the problem is that you have to know how to communicate with your body effectively.

Every person I know, if all they had to do was to say to their body, "muscles be strong, waist be small, legs be fast," to get their body to do that, would do that. So since almost everyone wants these things, the simplest solution is to know exactly how to speek the language of your body.

You know in your mind what you want your body to do, and regardless of what you may have thought about your limiatations in the past, most people's body has the full ability to reach the goals they aspire to.

Most people don't reach useful goals because they don't know enough of the words of your body's language to reach the goals. People know the words exercise and fit, but that's a long way from enough to make an effective change in your body, a change that you can rely on.

It's as if the only words I knew were job and car. You have to be far more specific if you wish to achieve something meaningful, either in the your career life, or in the fitness life.

Here are some bioese phrases that your mind can say to your body

Mind: "Muscle,Grow"

Mind: "Muscle,Get Stronger"

Mind: "Muscle, Burn Fat"

Here are some phrases that your muscles can say to you, if you know how to listen

Body: "Mind, I'm busy growing right now, don't exercise right now, you'll slow interrupt me from growing."

Body: "Mind, this is my ideal fat burning zone, no more, no less. Go at this pace and I'll burn fat as fast as I can."

Body, "Mind, This is the day, I'm at my peak point for maximum development. Work out today in the right way and I am primed to get stronger and bigger over the next few weeks."

There's a lot more communication that your body is able to tell you, and a lot more that you are able to tell your body, but there's also a lot of misunderstandings that if you don't know about them, your body will do the exact opposite of what you think it will do.

Let me give you a simple mistranslation that often happens between people and their body.

"Body not Understand"

Your Mind's Action: Go on a starvation diet

Your (intended) message: "Body, listen to me, I want a small waist line and I mean business."

What Your Body hears: "Body, either winter, or a famine is coming on. It must be, because I am unable to find food despite your hunger signals. So start storing fat and getting rid of muscle. The muscle isn't accomplishing anything in the food gathering department anyway, so our best bet is to wait this one out."

Secret 1: Speak your body's language

Have you ever went on a workout program where you did pushups, for instance.

You start out and can maybe do one pushup, if that.

Soon your are doing 10 pushups, and your chest muscles are growing, and your arms are getting stronger as well.

But get up to 20 or 30, and definitely by 50 or 60 pushups and your arms and chest stop growing. (most people, much sooner)

Why?

Because even though you think you gave your body the same message (do as many pushups as possible), from your body's perspective the message changed dramatically between the early days and the later ones.

At first your body hears: "Body, you aren't strong enough. grow some stronger muscle.

But later on your body hears: "Body, you are plenty strong, but you need more endurance."

You may have been told that it was pushing your body to do the maximum number of reps that was the body's message to get stronger, and it may have looked that way when you first started. But your body might be more intent on a different part of the message than you think it is.

Secret 2: Listen when your body speaks

Where's my coffee?

A man in a country where he doesn't speak the language.

He heard the waiter's name, he's managed to get coffee by pointing to his cup. It has normally only taken a minute, but this time it is taking much longer. He figures that the waiter hasn't understood, so he keeps calling the waiter back to the table, and every time he calls the waiter comes back and watches him point at the coffee cup .

The the waiter heads away again, going out back to the well to bring up more water, as the supply in the kitchen had run out. But every time the waiter gets to the well he hears the man call him again. And it is the custom in his country to always come immediately, so he is never able to get the water to make the coffee.

The man is frustrated because he is trying so hard and asking so insistently to get coffee. The waiter is frustrated because he is trying so hard to bring the coffee but the man keeps interrupting him in the process. And both are working very hard but accomplishing nothing.

In the story the man who wanted coffee represents your mind wanting your body to create more muscle, and the waiter represents your body doing what it can to make it happen. It is very common for you to ask your body to do something, for your body to get the message and start doing it, and for you to become impatient and interrupt the process, damaging all the efforts your body has already went to.

Flawless communication is difficult, even between two people who speak the same language, and were brought up in the same the same home. Ask any brothers and sisters.

Your body speaks an entirely different language and works on a very different time scale than your mind.

Our body is probably not up to the task of learning the language of our mind, so it is up to our minds to learn the language of our body.

Secret 3: Know your body's sequence and limitations

Even if you could tell your body to fly, and it could understand you perfectly, that wouldn't mean it could do it.

And many people will use this as their reason for believing that your program isn't working. But if you are asking your body to achieve goals that many other people have achieved before, then don't be so sure that you are asking for the impossible when results don't come quickly. You may just be asking in the wrong way, or the wrong order.

There are many things which are easier for your body to do in one order, than in another. Just like it is better for the waiter to put the glass on the table before pouring the water, there are sequences your body can handle much easier than other sequences.

Easier, Faster SequenceHarder, Slower Sequence
Add Strength, Speed and Power, Then Add Endurance Add Endurance, Then Add Strength and Power
Add Lean Mass, then Burn Fat Burn Fat, then add Lean Mass
Add Strength, then Add Muscle Size Add Muscle Size, then add Strength
Add Strength, then Add Flexibility Add Flexibility, then add Strength

The common thread is that adding strength is a great base from which to achieve other fitness goals. But even then there is an important sequence to understand.

Just like the waiter in our story, when the water ran out, your body sometimes takes longer to make improvements than it did in the beginning. That may have nothing to do with the way you are talking to your body, but may have everything to do with how long you are giving your body to respond, that is, with how you are listening to your body.

Now let's learn enough Bioese to reach any fitness goal.

Your body is not flexible, and will not learn your mind's language. But don't look down on the body, because of this. It actually works better this way. The body does retain a wisdom proven over timeless history. As a result the body's language is pretty consistent across countries, boundaries, races and genders. So barring medical conditions, the body can be counted on to speak and understand Bioese fluently.

Bioese is not like most languages because the body speaks some words to the mind, and the mind speaks some words to the body. If you think of the diner/waiter example above, the waiter aims to please, but unless the diner understands the waiter's limitations and language, the waiter won't be able to give the best service.

There are things that the waiter wants to say ("I'm getting the water, but it will take a while, so please be patient") that the diner needs to hear in order to get what he wants in the most efficient manner possible.

Here's the bioese translator, to the extent that I know it. In each case there is only one speaker. If it is the mind speaking to the body, then in the English I've started the sentence, "Body," as in, "Body, grow bigger muscles."

If it is the body speaking to the mind, then in English I've started the sentence, "Mind," as in, "Mind, get some sleep, you'll need energy tomorrow so you need to sleep now."

Mind's language (in English) Bioese (the body's language and perception of things)
Body, Get Stronger The mind gives an all-out effort, exhausting as many muscles fibers as quickly as it can in under 20 seconds.
Mind, I need more time to build muscle The muscle's most powerful fibers are weaker than they were last time an all-out effort was given.
Body, store as much fat as you can The body notices that the mind is unable to obtain food, even when given huge hunger pains.
Body, burn fat My muscles are busy for long periods of time and nourishing, tasty food is readily available
Mind, you are in the fat burning zone Even though I am using my muscles, and have been for some time, my mind is clear and sharp, conversation and thinking are both easy and my vision is sharp.
Body, stop growing muscle, drop strength in favor of endurance My muscles are working long and not getting much rest. They need to be converted to weaker, more efficient fiber types
Body, let the muscles shrink Since the last working, even though I've grown new muscle, I never needed it, or even the muscle I had before, so I might as well let the muscles shrink away.
Body, lose your endurance, don't lose fat, but keep your massive strength My muscles work very rarely, so rarely that my capillaries and mitochondria have time to atrophy. But when they do work they work out at such an intensity that they quickly exhaust my most powerful muscle fibers
Body, keep gaining strength and power, but also burn fat and keep gaining endurance My most powerful muscle fibers are getting the long rest it takes them to reach new levels, but my weaker fibers are getting all of the effort they need to keep their mitochondria and capillary levels high.

Each step to your fitness goals is easy

Bioese is an odd language, but if you think of all the conditions that muscles (not just in humans, but in all mammals) have to thrive in, it's pretty clear why the language works like it does. Nature is tough, and the body has to have a way to transform itself in an ever changing world.

But the good news is that Bioese is an easy language to master, and when you've mastered it, you can take your body wherever you want to take it. The steps are simple, reliable and clear.

Step 1: Tell your body to get stronger directly.

This step is easy, and requires no special equipment. The Bioese for this is simple. Go all out with your workouts, so hard that you can't continue the pace for more than 20 or 30 seconds or so.

Many forms of equipment make this step easier, but it is already easy. Continue this step until it stops working for you. (you stop seeing improvement) Even with no special equipment at all, many people can see steady improvement for a month or more.

Step 2: Follow your body's signals to give it the time it needs, but not too much time.

For this step you will need access to equipment that is capable of measuring how well your most powerful muscle fibers are recovering. People with a gym membership can usually use a power rack, a leg press, and a cable machine to continue adding strength for many months. But it is easiest to do, especially after much you start to get pretty strong, with the Streamline, or Streamline Digital

Step 3:  Keep adjusting your actions (the Bioese you speak to your body) according to your goals, and the messages you get from your body (the Bioese your body speaks back to you).
